The U-Clip is required hardware for The Metal Man – HD Steel Sign Hanger Post with Scroll. Use it to attach hanging signs to the sign frame arm. Each sign hanger post requires 2 clips.
Additionally, the U-Clip can be attached to the post of the sign frame – either the peg top or scroll top – for a side anchor. Secure the hanging sign to this clip. It prevents the sign from flapping too much with the wind or from swinging completely horizontal.
